Possible from Punta Cana and Bahiaybe

Transfer to the airport nearest your hotel : Punta Cana (20 mins).  Planes depending on the number of persons : 7,9,11,19 or 38 seats.

Take off for a 40 minute flight in the direction of Samana.  The flight over the bay of Samana sometimes offers glimpses of one or two whales.  Landing at the Aroyo Barril airport and transfer to the port of Samana by coach (20 mins).

Aboard a boat, the capacity of which will depend on the size of the group.  Then departure for whale observation in the bay of Samana.  30 minutes’ navigation in the direction of the canal de la Mona.

As soon as one or a number of whales are spotted the boat approaches and follows them for 20 minutes or so.  The show given by these 40 ton mammals jumping and diving before your eyes is grandiose.

Fish lunch on the paradise island of Cayo Levantado (where the advertisement for Bacardi Rum was filmed).  Freetime for bathing and diving.

Then return by boat to Samana and transfer to the airport for the return flight.
