Transfer by minibus (10 mins) to Cortesito’s nautical centre.

Departure from the hotel beach on « lanchas » (fast boats) to the nautical base situated on the beach  of the small fishing village of Bayahibe.  Security briefing, distribution of lifejackets and all aboard the speed boats, small 2 seater outboards.

Departure in convoy along the coast of the Parc National del Este, a nature reserve stretching over 450km² and protecting some 500 varieties of plants and 140 bird species.  First stop in the Tainos caves where iguanas, tortoises and other tropical species live alongside.

Continuing towards the « natural swimming pool », following along kilometres of deserted beaches, where we will make a 45 minute stop to allow participants, equipped with masks and tubas, to explore the crystal clear waters.  (Star fish and a variety of brightly coloured fish will be awaiting them.)

A few minutes from the natural pool, we will navigate across the mangrove forest protecting luxurious vegetation and a number of tropical bird species.

Return to the nautical base on Bayahibe beach where refreshments will be served and then transfer by lanchas back to the hotel beach.
