Everyone meets at the hotel reception then departure by school bus to the quad base where you will receive your equipment as well as a security briefing .  You will have the opportunity  to have a trial go there and then.

First stop in a sugar cane plantation, where you will be able to taste some « cana ».  The guide will then provide you with some explanation regarding the harvesting and refinery procedures.  Free refreshments.

The track will continue across plantations and Haitian « bateys », villages where the cane sugar workers live.

Second stop in the direction of the little village named El Gato where you will discover the majestic Rio de Chavon and its luxuriant vegetation.  You will be able to wash away, in these waters, the dust accumulated during the kilometres of tracks covered.

Third stop on the way back and a visit to the village El Gato where a family will invite you to taste coconut milk and tropical fruits.

Return to the hotel.
